No complaints about my meal at the Hard Eight Pit BBQ just outside Dallas. This is a classic BBQ joint where you pick your meat and pay by the pound. You start by standing in line that weaves it way towards the pit. The pit contains all kinds of BBQ meats, corn and sausage. You simply tell the Pit Master what you want and he throws it on the plate. When you are done with your choices, another person places your tray on a scale. My plate came out to $19.99. From the meats you walk down the line and pick out your sides. I went with Cole Slaw and Onion Rings.
