Could not think of a better family hotel to stay at then Embassy Suites. These hotels feature two room suites, complimentary breakfast and an afternoon Happy Hour that runs from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Where else can you drink free beer, wine and margaritas while munching on pizza and other snacks at no cost. We really did not have time to enjoy the breakfast or Happy Hour during our stay. However, I did sneak in one glass of wine prior to leaving one evening. Looking at the people eating I can tell you that they serve a complete breakfast with cereals, eggs, bacon, toast, waffles, fruit and more. The one time I stepped up to the counter during Happy Hour, Margaritas were flying along with huge slices of pizza. I liked the rooms here. Big enough for our family with space to spare. It was nice to have a good size refrigerator and microwave in the room. Only complaint was they charge ($9.95) per day for internet service. Other than that this was a great stay. The front desk personnel were very polite, smiling and friendly. There is a small bar adjacent to the lobby that had a joyful little bartender that happily served the older folks staying at the hotel. This is a "family" hotel. Don't stay here if you want peace and quiet and quick elevator rides. Kids run rampant in the lobby and hallways. Always on the move to eat, swim or play in the atrium. It was fine for us since we just were there to sleep. Out and about the rest of the time. I would stay here again and again. The hotel is only two miles from the entrance of Disneyland. They offer shuttle service for $5. Also very close to Angel Stadium and 6 miles to Knott's Berry Farm. There are plenty of restaurants and hotels on Harbor Blvd so you really do not have to travel far when staying here. Room service is available and the food is good and not too pricy.
