HOAKALEI COUNTRY CLUBWas lucky to golf at Hoakalei today with a fun group of guys. This is a beautiful course with lots of water and sand traps. I lost a bunch of balls here but had a terrific time. The Club has a temporary clubhouse and pro shop with a small kitchen.This Ernie Els signature design forms part of the prestigious new world-class Hoakalei Country Club that is being built next to beautiful Ocean Pointe, Ewa Beach, about 20 minutes from Honolulu. It is O‘ahu’s only resort-based country club.Hoakalei was officially opened for play by Ernie Els on 12 January 2009 and was voted one of the best new golf courses of the year by the prestigious Linksmagazine in the US.
